Makes sense. I can&#039;t remember if it&#039;s in John&#039;s book or not, but when talking to him about cleans, I believe he said he has his football player trainees do a bunch of power cleans as part of the warmups on deadlift days before the heavier deadlift warmups and work set. 

Also, what happened to your training videos? I was loving them.]]></description>

Same here man. If someone has typical goals of a good blend of everything, I always recommend GreySkull. I pretty much only recommend SS when it is young, high school athletes because I want them doing an assload of squats and power cleans. Usually, this is better for their sports performance.]]></description>

It is still my go-to whenever training or programming someone new, and since most of those people are just looking to get stronger/more muscular, the powerlifting specific problems don&#039;t even matter.
